This series aims to provide lived experience from remote nurses and midwives providing a opportunity to learn from their career choice to embark on a rural and remote nursing and midwifery adventure. Panellists will discuss their reasoning as to why to go rural and remote, their transition period and mentorship as well as the possible career pathways. Their will be a Q&A segment in each session. So you’ve decided to take your career in nursing and/or midwifery rural or remote. How do you adjust to the different environment? What are the skills and knowledge required to become an effective member of a remote primary health care team?

Join our panel of rural and remote nurses and midwives at different stages of their careers, to hear about their experiences and knowledge regarding the transition to rural or remote nursing.
