National Immunisation Program EOI

Seeking expressions of interest from health workers across different fields to join our online course on best practices and increasing vaccination reach in vulnerable populations.

Background

We’re seeking AHPRA-registered nurses, midwives and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health practitioners to participate in the Understanding Vaccines and the National Immunisation Program, to be fully reimbursed upon completion of the course.

Course information

The Understanding Vaccines and the National Immunisation Program aims to equip health professionals with knowledge and skills to competently deliver a high quality and safe immunisation service by:

  • introducing the learner to comprehensive information on the theoretical and practical components of immunisation
  • guiding the learner to utilise the relevant resources that support best practice when delivering an immunisation service
  • assisting the learner to assess their understanding of the relevant information.

The online program is self-paced and must be completed from this provider.

Applicant criteria

We highly encourage the following NT based health practitioners to enrol:

  • nurses
  • midwifes
  • Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander health practitioners.

Interested health practitioners must be AHPRA registered.

Reimbursement

To qualify for reimbursement of the course fees, all course activities must be successfully completed, and both invoices and proof of completion must be submitted before 10 December 2023.
