NT PHN is seeking expressions of interest (EOI) to expand the National Psychosocial Support Program (NPS) to new rural and remote areas of the NT.
Locally based providers who are established in the rural and remote regions and communities identified in the EOI Guidelines document are encouraged to apply.
‘Psychosocial supports’ are non-clinical community-based supports that aim to facilitate recovery in the community for people experiencing mental illness – through a range of services to help people manage daily activities, rebuild and maintain connections, build social skills and participate in education and employment.
Psychosocial support services are for people with severe mental illness and associated psychosocial functional impairment who are not accessing services through the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) or other funded support services.
