This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated, skilled and passionate Psychologist or Provisional Psychologist to join the Darwin Psychology Services team and work across their clinics in Durack and Winnellie.

What’s the role?

  • Provide clinical services to clients referred to DPS
  • Provide psychological assessment and treatments to clients presenting with a range of psychological, health and wellbeing issues
  • Compile comprehensive assessment reports, evaluative reports, treatment plans, and maintain accurate, legible, and current client case notes and records.
  • Maintain accurate and legible cases notes/ records in line with best clinical practice
  • Undertake work away from Darwin as required
  • Provisional psychologists will work under the supervision of senior psychologists

Is this the right role for you?
Not limited to but before you apply, we need you to have:

  • Provisional or Full registration as a Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia
  • Registration with AHPRA
  • Medicare Provider Number or eligibility to obtain Medicare Provider Number
  • Experience in working with children of all ages and backgrounds, parents and those agencies supporting children in their development.
  • Thorough knowledge of childhood development and factors that may interfere with maximization of developmental potential.
  • The ability and initiative to work autonomously while being part of a clinical team
  • NT Working with Children/OCHRE card

NT PHN/RWA NT may be able to offer relocation support and clinical educational financial assistance to health professionals who are relocating to the NT or moving within the NT to a greater remoteness area classification for the purposes of employment and further clinical education.
