Why Bush Steps?
Bush Steps are a mobility clinic located in Central Australia. They are dedicated to providing specialised care for individuals with limb differences or conditions affecting the neurological and muscular systems. 
 
The Bush Steps team work across Central Australia and surrounding regions, providing allied health services through their Alice Springs clinic, mobile service across the local community and outreach services across surrounding regions.

What is the role?
  • Provide Physiotherapy services to individuals in Central Australia and surrounding regions.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and reporting to understand and communicate the unique needs and goals of clients
  • Develop and deliver personalised treatment plans in collaboration with clients, their families, and support networks
  • Deliver evidence-based interventions aimed at improving mobility, function, and quality of life for clients
  • Participate in outreach clinics located in the remote regions of Central Australia and surrounding areas 
  • Engage in continuous professional development and cultural competency training to enhance service delivery and improve outcomes for clients from diverse cultural backgrounds in regional settings.
Is this the right role for you?
  • Degree in physiotherapy with current AHPRA registration
  • At least 2 years of clinical experience 
  • Strong time management and communications skills (verbal and written) 
  • Ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team
  • Experience with NDIS, paediatric, neurological and/or disability physiotherapy is highly regarded
NT PHN/RWA NT may be able to offer relocation support and clinical educational financial assistance to health professionals who are relocating to the NT or moving within the NT to a greater remoteness area classification for the purposes of employment and further clinical education.
