Blue Knot Foundation and NT PHN Free Webinar – ‘Building Foundations: Applying a Trauma Lens to Foster Safety in Relationships ‘

The NT PHN invites primary health professionals, working with disabled clients or patients, to this Blue Knot Webinar. Learn how to deliver a trauma-informed service, where safety and connection are central.

The Blue Knot Foundation is dedicated to building trauma awareness and trauma-responsive leadership across Australia. Trauma-informed services can support people to feel safe, build trust, and overcome their fear and sense of betrayal. Our interactions with one another are always important. They are especially important for people living with the impacts of trauma. Trauma interrupts the connections between our different systems of functioning – physical, emotional and cognitive (thinking). Recovery occurs when these different levels of functioning become connected or ‘integrated’ again.

Who Should Attend?

This free, online training, is for Primary Health Professionals who support people living with a disability and who are interested in applying a trauma-informed approach to their work with their disabled clients and patients.
