As a GP locum in the Northern Territory, you will gain valuable experience across diverse and rewarding healthcare settings, from regional centres to rural and remote communities.
We partner with private practices and Aboriginal Community-Controlled Health Organisations across the NT to offer flexible placements that suit your availability and interests.
- Minimum placement: 2 weeks
- Flexible contract lengths beyond this
- Unrestricted medical board registration
- Current CV with two referees
- ABN (or willingness to obtain one)
- Medical indemnity insurance
- Ochre Card (or ability to obtain one)
- National criminal history check
- Fellowship with RACGP, ACRRM or vocational registration
- Aboriginal health
- Rural or remote practice
- Manual driver’s licence
- Emergency medicine training
- Competitive daily rates
- Travel and accommodation arranged
- Orientation and practical support
- Help with provider numbers and onboarding
