Acknowledgement of Country
NT PHN acknowledges and pays respect to the Traditional Owners of the lands across Australia on which our members live and work, and to their Elders and ancestors, past and present.

Population health is about improving the health and wellbeing of our whole community, while addressing the factors that influence health outcomes across the Northern Territory.
We work with health professionals, community organisations and government partners to identify local health needs and address gaps in care. We fund and support programs that focus on prevention, encourage healthier communities and improve access to primary health care, particularly for people living in rural and remote areas.
By understanding the needs of different communities and investing in targeted initiatives, we aim to improve health outcomes and help Territorians access the care and support they need.

We fund services that focus on prevention, early support, and long-term improvement across the health system.
Refugee Health Program
We support newly arrived refugees in the Darwin region with free, culturally appropriate GP services and coordinated care during their first 12 months.
Digital health and population insights
We invest in data, digital tools and partnerships to improve planning and access to care.
