The NT Thrive Grant supports eligible health professionals relocating to the Northern Territory, as well as health professionals already living in the NT who are moving to a more remote area for work.
The grant provides financial support to help with the costs of relocating, settling into a new community and making the transition to life in the Territory. It can also support expenses that contribute to your wellbeing and professional development, helping you feel supported both personally and professionally as you take the next step in your career.
Health professionals including GPs, nurses, allied health professionals and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Practitioners – who will be working in primary health care in the NT and been placed by us, are eligible to apply.
Please review the NT Thrive Grant guidelines to make sure you meet the eligibility criteria.
The amount of funding you could receive depends on the location you’re moving to and the length of your contract. Please contact us to discuss this in more detail.
