Health professional relocation grant

The health professional relocation grant supports health professionals relocating to the NT or health professionals who are moving within the NT to a more remote area.

The grant can help with the costs of things like household removals, flights, transport and other related expenses.

Who is eligible?

Health professionals – GPs, nurses, allied health professionals and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health workers – who will be working in primary health care in the NT and been placed by us, are eligible to apply.

How much can I get?

The amount of funding you could receive depends on the location you’re moving to and the length of your contract.

How do I apply?

To apply for the grant, please first check you meet all the eligibility criteria listed in the HPRG Guidelines.
