Physiotherapist – Purple House – Alice Springs

  • Salary range $51.71 per hour – $64.64 per hour
  • Eligibility for scholarships & bursaries
  • Up to $12,000 for relocation to eligible candidates

What’s in it for you?

  • Salary: clinical (Non- Dialysis) Level $51.71/hr Full Time
  • Option for casual hours at $64.64/hr incl. casual loading.
  • Up to $7,000 for relocation through NT PHN for eligible candidates 
  • Up to $5,000 for relocation through Purple House
  • Salary packaging up to $15,900 annually
  • Eligibility for scholarships and bursaries through NT PHN
  • Study leave after 12 months

 
What’s the role?

  • Work collaboratively to ensure continuity of holistic quality care for patients with a diagnosed chronic disease and for those who may be at risk of contracting a chronic disease
  • Manage physiotherapy needs for a case load of patients with multiple, complex, chronic diseases
  • Hold physical exercise sessions for patients
  • Improve patient mobility and enhance their quality of life
  • Maintain patient records to a high standard, including progress notes and records of communication with or regarding patients

 
Is this the right role for you?

  • Bachelor or Masters of Physiotherapy
  • Registration with the National Physiotherapy Board of Australia.
  • Understanding and experience working within the primary healthcare system.
  • Effective communication cross-culturally and professionally, including well developed written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Experience working as a sole clinician Preferred.

 
NT PHN/RWA NT may be able to offer relocation support and clinical educational financial assistance to health professionals who are relocating to the NT or moving within the NT to a greater remoteness area classification for the purposes of employment and further clinical education.
