Mental Health and Wellbeing Plan for Integration and Co-Investment 2024-29

About the plan

The Mental Health and Wellbeing Plan for Integration and Co-Investment 2024-29 has been developed by NT PHN, the Northern Territory Government (NT Health), Aboriginal Medical Services Alliance Northern Territory (AMSANT), and National Indigenous Australians Agency (NIAA).

The Plan provides strategic direction for partner organisations for the next five years to;

  • Identify and action opportunities for co-investment
  • Reduce fragmentation
  • Improve consumer experiences as they navigate mental health and wellbeing services in the Northern Territory.

Working together ensures a coordinated approach to resource distribution and decision making.

Implementation of the Plan will be the responsibility of the partner organisations and occur in partnership across all five health regions with mental health service providers, people with lived experience, primary health care specialists and the Aboriginal community-controlled sector.
