  • Salary range of $80,000 – $84,99
  • Up to $3,500 for relocation, as well CPD grants

Headspace are a busy and innovative youth mental health service providing a variety of mental health, medical, sexual and other health related services as well as vocational, functional groups and social services to young people aged 12 to 25 years and their families.

What’s the role?

  • Provide engagement, assessment, clinical case management & treatment for young people aged 12-25 years, specifically experiencing symptoms of psychosis & co-occurring mental health difficulties.
  • Work with the headspace team to deliver youth friendly, family inclusive, culturally appropriate services.
  • Provide professional and effective therapeutic interventions and support services to young people and their families according to best practice standards
  • Provide clear referral pathways for young people to access internal and external services
  • Maintain current data standards and clinical records in a timely and professional manner.

Is this the right role for you?

  • Approved tertiary qualification in a health-related discipline and minimum 1 year relevant experience
  • Registration with relevant regulatory body such as AHPRA or membership of, and adherence to professional standards (E.g. AASW for Social Workers)
  • Experience conducting risk assessments and developing safety plans to help manage risks
  • Exceptional interpersonal (written and verbal), organisation and time management skills
  • Experience working with culturally diverse groups

NT PHN/RWA NT may be able to offer relocation support and clinical educational financial assistance to health professionals who are relocating to the NT or moving within the NT to a greater remoteness area classification for the purposes of employment and further clinical education.
