The target audience of this Train the Trainers program is healthcare providers who provide antenatal care, including but not limited to midwives and shared-care GPs, and who are working in a role which enables them to provide training and support to colleagues who also provide antenatal care.
The training package will be submitted for accreditation by key professional bodies such as the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine and the Australian College of Midwives. Endorsements may be sought from additional bodies pending advice from the Steering Committee.
The live sessions are scheduled for February 26th and March 27th 2025 and will take 120 minutes. The estimated total time commitment for the program is 3 hours plus additional time for trainers to facilitate the training at their home practice.
