This online learning module has been developed for Primary Healthcare Nurses across Australia who want to increase their knowledge and understanding of unplanned pregnancy care within primary health care settings. The new module was developed by Australian Primary Health Care Nurses Association (APNA) in partnership with Sexual Health Victoria and is available on demand.

Learning Outcomes
After completing this module, you will be able to:
- Determine language that may be regarded as judgmental in the unplanned pregnancy consultation.
- Identify pregnancy choices, for patients with an unplanned pregnancy.
- Categorise factors that may impact a client’s choice between medical and surgical abortion.
Assessment
At the completion of each module you will be presented with a brief online assessment that will test your underpinning knowledge.
