Flinders University’s AISH Sleep Health Clinic invites GPs and Psychologists to attend ‘Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Insomnia’.
Focussed Psychological Strategies (FPS) are specific mental healthcare management strategies based on evidence-based psychological therapies. This two-day course content includes measuring and understanding sleep, assessment and treatment of insomnia using cognitive behavioural therapy for insomnia, and case discussions.
Your program includes:
- All resources for practitioners for use with patients.
- Pre-workshop resources and training workbook.
- Online or in-person delivery.
- Co-delivery of materials from experienced GPs, sleep physicians and psychologist with specialty in sleep medicine.
- Connection with clinical case conferencing & the specialised AISH Sleep Health Clinic

This training aligns with RACGP guidelines to ensure that GPs meet all the learning outcomes to achieve FPS Level Two accreditation. Content has been reviewed by people with lived mental health experience.
Eligible GPs can be reimbursed $600Â once they complete the requirements for FPS Skills Training and register as GP providers of FPS with Services Australia (Medicare). Please see links below for FPS application form and subsidy application form.
