Free Webinar – Managing CKD alongside other chronic conditions
Free Webinar – Managing CKD alongside other chronic conditions
Chronic kidney disease: common, harmful, treatable, often overlooked.
CKD rarely occurs in isolation. In a primary care setting, it is very likely that individuals will have a CKD diagnosis that sits alongside diabetes and CVD. These three chronic conditions share many treatment goals and management strategies.
Join Kidney Health Australia (KHA) and presenters Dr Tahira Scott (Nephrologist) and Dr Andrea Miller (General Practitioner), both of Cape York Kidney Care as they apply a ‘whole of person’ approach to a real (de-identified) case of a Torres Strait Islander man living with CKD, diabetes and CVD. This webinar delves into Chapter 3 of the Chronic Kidney Disease Management in Primary Care 5th handbook, Managing CKD alongside other chronic conditions.
