ASHM Webinar: National Hepatitis B Prescriber Forum
A free opportunity for hepatitis B s100 prescribers to submit and present a case at ASHM’s online National Prescriber Forum.
The Hepatitis B Prescriber Forum is a half-day forum designed for hepatitis B s100 prescribers that will cover current and relevant sector priorities and topics. With expert panels and interactive case discussions, the 2024 Hepatitis B Prescriber Forum is an opportunity to dive deep into emerging areas of hepatitis B treatment and management and discuss the contemporary issues facing hepatitis B clinical care in Australia.
Target Group
Hepatitis B s100 GP and NP Prescribers, Sexual Health Registrars and Physicians, Infectious Diseases Trainees and Physicians, and medical practitioners who are interested in prescribing Hepatitis B s100 medication and managing patients living with hepatitis B.
Learning Objectives
- Describe barriers to accessing hepatitis B management, treatment, and linkage to care.
- Evaluate hepatitis B patients’ suitability for monitoring and treatment.
- Develop guideline-based approaches for managing patients with hepatitis B, referring to both clinical- and community-facing resources.
Submit your case study
Submit a 10-minute case study. By submitting and discussing a case, you can receive an additional HBV CPD point, totaling 3 CPD points to acquire all required CPD points for the year. Please send cases to

Accreditation
HBV s100 prescribers will receive 2 HBV CPD points for attending the Hepatitis B Prescriber Forum. By submitting and discussing your model of care, you can receive an additional HBV CPD point, totaling 3 CPD points to acquire all required CPD points for the year.
This is an RACGP-approved CPD activity under the RACGP CPD Program for 4 Educational Activity hours. This course and associated activities are accredited by the ACNP for professional development. This course is accredited with ACRRM for 4 educational activity PDP units in the 2023-2025 triennium.
