A free, online, Hepatitis B S100 Update for NT Prescribers

What will you learn?

In this 90-minute case discussion participants will discuss a range of hepatitis B case studies with a specialist or experienced HBV s100 prescriber, highlighting approaches to diagnosing, treating and managing people living with hepatitis B.

Who Should Attend?

Rural Generalists, General Practitioners, Nurse Practitioners, nurses, midwives from private practice and Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Services and other community based medical practitioners based in NT.

Learning Outcomes

Through online learning and virtual teaching, participants will learn to:

• Plan guideline-based monitoring for patients with chronic hepatitis B
• Evaluate chronic hepatitis B patients’ suitability for antiviral treatment
• Select and prescribe appropriate first-line antiviral medication for patients with chronic hepatitis B
