Free, Neurodiversity Training, Alice Springs, 15 April 2025
The NT PHN and the Mental Health Association of Central Australia (MHACA), invite Alice Springs health professionals to a one-day workshop to build your knowledge to better support neuro-diverse patients/clients.
The Training
This training comprises two sessions and is open to all health professionals.
You’re welcome to attend both sessions. To do this, make sure you get one ticket for each session at the checkout.
When registering you will be asked some questions around how you identify and what your dietary needs are. If you prefer not to answer please choose ‘prefer not to say’. If you do indicate how you identify, please note that MHACA will report on the diversity of the event attendees in a de-identified way.
- Session one: Neurodiversity Affirming Practice (8:15am – 12:00pm)
- Session two: Trauma-Informed Care for Neurodivergent Individuals(12:30pm – 4:00pm)
- Morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea are provided.
Presenters
Divergent Futures delivers Neurodiversity-Affirming training to health professionals. Co-founded in 2022 by Anna Clarke (Psychologist & Play Therapist) and Monique Mitchelson (Clinical Psychologist), Divergent Futures is your hub for comprehensive resources, training, and consultation for supporting Neurodivergent clients through a strengths-based lens.
HealthPathways
“NT HealthPathways CPD opportunities
RACGP and ACRRM acknowledge HealthPathways as a valuable clinical tool for GPs and have endorsed its use to contribute to Continuing Professional Development (CPD) requirements.
