A confidential, grant‑funded medical consultation for Central Australian and Barkly doctors
Includes a 1 hour, thorough health assessment, discussion of concerns, and any required investigations.

Why is this outreach service valuable?

Provides timely, bulk‑billed access to an experienced GP who understands remote practice.
Removes barriers such as travel, cost, and time away from work, with telehealth follow‑up available.
Records are securely stored, accessible only to the treating doctor, with only de‑identified data used for reporting.

Dr Jill Benson AM, MBBS, DCH, FACPsychMed, MPH, FACRRM

Jill has been a GP for over 40 years, for the last 20 years mostly working as a GP for other doctors, in remote Aboriginal communities, with refugees, as a Medical Educator, and as a volunteer medical educator in the Pacific Islands.
