Alice Springs postgraduate clinicians in Allied Health and Medicine you’re invited to a Free Half-Day Mentoring Masterclass Symposium
Join Flinders NT Regional Training Hub for a half day program, developed with local practitioners & the Pam McLean Centre, a recognised leader in clinical communication skills training. No matter your level of experience as a mentor or a mentee, this symposium will expand your knowledge and build upon your skills.
Presenters
Dr Renee Lim – Renee Lim has worked for over 10 years as a Locum Registrar in Emergency, Geriatrics and Palliative Care. She is also a very experienced professional actor and these skills, combined with her medical expertise and educational knowledge and experience, have allowed her to expand her role in the devising of new scenarios and formats for PMC workshops.
Renee has also developed high-level facilitator skills and contributed to strategic planning and product development to ensure the ongoing viability and growth of the Centre. Renee also plays a key role in training of facilitators and actors, development of online training modules including film, and expansion of our new topic areas in graduate and postgraduate settings. Catering is provided.
Dr Marilyn Paull – Dr Marilyn Paull is a General Paediatrician and Adolescent Physician and is the current Network Head of Adolescent Medicine in the Sydney Children’s Hospitals Network (SCHN). Her main clinical interest is in adolescent chronic illness.
She has worked as a RACP training director for 10 years within the SCHN, and more recently focused on skill development in supervision, mentoring, communication and professional development.
