By focusing on innovation and commitment, the theme for 2026 emphasises the profound impact these efforts have on shaping a future where quality healthcare is accessible to all, regardless of location.

Scholarships

Now taking applications until 5 January 2026

We are excited to announce a new opportunity to access an all-inclusive, complimentary registration to the 2026 Remote Nursing and Midwifery Conference being held in Perth in May 2026. Thanks to generous donations we’ve received from our community, Members and stakeholders, this new scholarship program is designed to support attendance of:

  • Undergraduate students studying a health discipline with an interest in rural and remote practice
  • New to remote clinicians (under three years in practice)
  • First Peoples’ clinicians working in rural and remote

Scholarship recipients will be contacted early February 2026. Please note that travel and accommodation costs will be at the recipient’s own expense and are not covered by this sponsorship.
