The NT PHN & the Right Care Right Place Program, invite Alice Springs GPs and mental health professionals to join us for a free CPD evening with Alice Springs GP, Dr Sophie Hunt.
Who is this for?
This CPD evening is for GPs, mental health professionals and others working with people, and their families, living with eating disorders.
Presenter
Dr Sophie Hunt
Dr Sophie Hunt is a GP who has lived and worked in Alice Springs/Mparntwe for over a decade. She works as GP Lead at headspace Alice Springs and at Larapinta Clinic for Central Australian Aboriginal Congress. She is passionate about caring for people with a whole-person approach and enjoys working with young people, in a multi-disciplinary team and in cross-cultural settings.
Grace Dwyer, the Eating Disorders Care Coordinator from Right Care, Right Place, will be facilitating this event on behalf of the NT PHN.

- Understand the eligibility criteria for an Eating Disorder Plan
- How to start and review an Eating Disorder Plan
- Multidisciplinary Team building for clients with eating disorders
- Medicare requirements for an Eating Disorder Case Conference
- Understand MBS Claiming for Eating Disorder Plans and Case Conferences

RACGP and ACRRM acknowledge HealthPathways as a valuable clinical tool for GPs and have endorsed its use to contribute to Continuing Professional Development (CPD) requirements.
