You’re invited to attend the upcoming Veteran-Centric Healthcare Training, hosted by Operation Thrive, featuring Dr. Chris and Dr. Pete from Veterans Medical Group.

This event is a free event funded by the Northern Territory Government.

Who is this for?

This professional development opportunity is open to general practitioners, nurses, practice managers, and Ex-Service Organisations. It will focus on improving knowledge of veteran healthcare, DVA processes, and available support services.

If you are part of an Ex-Service Organisation and wish to present during the event, please indicate this in your RSVP.

Capapes and drinks will be served at 4pm when the training concludes.

Presenters

• Dr Christopher McLean, BBioMed (Hons), MBBS, MMed (Crit Care), Emergency Medicine Adv. Trainee, FRACGP
  • Dr Christopher McLean enjoys practicing generalist medicine in all its domains due to its proven impact on the health of the community. He has found that by engaging in a multi-disciplinary team as part of the wider Primary Care Model you can achieve better outcomes for patients and their families. Dr Chris joined the Army through university to serve in the RAAMC as well as Senior Medical Officer. He has since moved his service commitments to part-time so he can pursue further specialist training as an Emergency Physician.

CPD

This training will count towards CPD hours for both GPs and nurses.
