Capacity building grants for disability and family domestic sexual violence 

Individuals and primary healthcare organisations can access up to $25,000 to build their capacity to support people with disabilities and those with disabilities who are at risk of or experiencing family, domestic, or sexual violence.

Program overview

NT PHN is seeking expressions of interest (EOIs) for 2 new funding opportunities:

  1. Primary healthcare professionals and providers looking to build their capacity to support people with disabilities
  2. Primary healthcare organisations aiming to build their capacity to support people with disabilities who are at risk of or experiencing family, domestic, or sexual violence.

Eligibility

Eligible applicants can apply for funding to undertake activities which may include:

  • Training program development
  • Resource and initiative development
  • Participation in training modules, attendance to relevant training events, conferences, short courses, workshops, and seminars specific to disability and FDSV
  • Training on disability-inclusive FDSV response with a focus on forms of FDSV that are unique to this at-risk cohort.

Funding

Organisations can apply for up to $25,000 while individual health workers can apply for up to $5,000 to support and undertake their activities.

(Individual grant applications are only available under the first funding opportunity outlined in the grant guidelines).
